Judd Bed

Made for a private client, this bed takes its cue from Donald Judd’s calm, box-like furniture. A low timber platform sits on a recessed base so the volume appears to float just above the floor, with all fixings hidden and proportions kept deliberately simple. The frame is built from solid hardwood and veneered panels, giving it enough weight to feel architectural while still reading as a single, quiet object in the room.
