Structured Corner
Structured Corner gathers together Cedar of Lebanon, lacewood, painted elements and a digitally printed image into one folded construction. The work sits in the angle of the room, part shelf, part frame, part fragment of architecture. Planes of colour and timber overlap, so that the photographic image is held in the same rhythm as the physical supports around it. The corner becomes a joint between different kinds of picture-making – digital, painted and built – each one propping the others up.”
