Cast Book

Cast Book documents a publication by turning it into a single solid object. Working from the original book, the studio produced a mould and cast that captures the form and edge detail while sealing the pages into one continuous block. The finished piece keeps the scale and presence of a book, but reads more like a small architectural volume, hovering between document and sculpture.
